BoA Hopes to Invite Bruno Mars to 'K-909': A Comeback to the Global Music Show
Singer BoA shared her thoughts on returning to JTBC's global music show, 'K-909.'
Global music show 'K-909' returned after its debut last May, with K-pop legend BoA once again taking the role of the host. With the 12th episode approaching, BoA said, "I'm excited to meet the viewers again. I'm grateful and happy that we were able to return, thanks to those who loved and waited for 'K-909.'"
BoA, who laid the foundation for the K-pop craze, empathized with and enjoyed the performances of K-pop stars on stage, leading the show with ease. She didn't just introduce the performances but also took on the role of a music curator, offering in-depth talks about music and introducing new songs.
Previously, 'K-909' gained a favorable response from viewers with unique collaborations featuring global stars such as pop star Christopher, Lauv, Salem Ilese, and pianist Lang Lang. When asked about inviting foreign artists to the show, BoA said, "I recently heard about Bruno Mars' concert in Korea. If I have the chance, I'd like to invite him."
JTBC's global music show 'K-909' will air on May 6 at 4:40 pm (KST).
