Monsta X's Joohoney Set for Solo Debut in May, Unveils Official Logo
Monsta X member Joohoney has heightened fans' anticipation with the release of the first teaser content for his solo album.
On April 30, Joohoney revealed his official solo debut logo (JOOHONEY OFFICIAL LOGO), scheduled for late May, through Monsta X's official social media accounts. Along with the logo image, a video was also released, adding weight and symbolism to Joohoney's solo venture.
Joohoney's official logo is derived from the initials J and H of 'JOOHONEY,' which often appears in his signature sound, 'Joohoney 1 Hunnit.'
Upon examining the logo image, two sharp silver spears, symbolizing Joohoney's charisma on stage, come together to form the shape of J and H, completing a circle.
In the accompanying video, the two spears rotate with a chilling sound, eventually finding a point of contact and intersecting. The meeting of the two spears seems to signify Joohoney's musical struggles and completion of his solo album.
Joohoney has been steadily carving his path in music production, working on numerous Monsta X title tracks and b-sides, collaborations with external artists, and directing audition program mission songs, as well as his personal mixtapes.
He has also made a mark in OST singing, participating in 'Ride Or Die' for the JTBC drama 'Run On,' which aired last year, and recently releasing 'Awake' with Kihyun for the Tving Original 'Our Game: LG Twins' OST.
Having kicked off his solo album preparations with the release of the first content, Joohoney plans to unveil various teaser promotions in the future.
