Singer Venny has given birth to a daughter.

On April 29 (KST), Venny (Bae So-min)'s husband Ahn Yong-jun revealed through OSEN, "The surgery was successful. Our princess was born early this morning. Both mother and baby are in good health."

Earlier today, Venny shared on her Instagram, "My blood pressure and proteinuria levels were too high, so I had to undergo emergency surgery. I wonder how small the baby inside me was? I'm suddenly feeling nervous, but I'm also excited to see my little one even a day sooner." She added, "Let's meet each other soon, healthy and well."

In response, Ahn Yong-jun said, "It's been a hectic time. There was so much to do. We're about to have our first meal together." He continued, "It's a very surreal feeling, but I'll do my best to raise our child well," expressing his gratitude.

Born in 1978, Venny, who turned 46 this year, married actor Ahn Yong-jun, who is nine years her junior, in 2015 after four years of dating.

In January, during their eighth year of marriage, the couple announced they were expecting a new life and received support from netizens.

At the time, Ahn Yong-jun shared, "Given my wife's age, it could be difficult, but we feel deeply moved and overwhelmed by the sudden blessing." He added, "I pray that our child grows up well and that my wife can recover smoothly as well."
