LE SSERAFIM's Storm Forecast: Pre-orders Surpass 1.38 Million for First Full Album
Girl group LE SSERAFIM has exceeded 1.38 million pre-orders for their new album.
According to album distributor YG Plus on the 29th, LE SSERAFIM's first full album, 'Unforgiven (UNFORGIVEN),' had accumulated 1.38 million pre-orders as of April 28.
The figure of 1.38 million pre-orders places the album among the highest in the history of K-pop girl group album pre-orders. This number is more than double the pre-orders for their previous work, 'Antifragile (ANTIFRAGILE),' which recorded 620,000 pre-orders.
LE SSERAFIM's new album achieved 1.03 million pre-orders in just one week of pre-sales, predicting a 'career high.' The industry is expecting the birth of a consecutive million-seller following 'Antifragile.'
Considering the trend of pre-orders, LE SSERAFIM's second million-seller achievement is expected to be much earlier than their previous work. With high pre-order numbers, the initial sales (sales volume within one week from the release date) record is also expected to be renewed.
LE SSERAFIM will release the music and music video for their first full album, Unforgiven, on May 1. The album will be released the following day, May 2.
