BTS' Jimin Dazzles at Tiffany's in New York as 'World's No.1'
BTS member Jimin shined brightly at the grand reopening event of Tiffany & Co.'s flagship store in the United States.
On April 28 (Korean time), Jimin attended the reopening event of the flagship Tiffany store, located on the prestigious 5th Avenue in New York City, as a global ambassador.
At the event, Jimin wore a black suit from luxury brand Dior, where he also serves as a global ambassador, and accessorized with a re-edition brooch from Tiffany's legendary jewelry designer Jean Schlumberger. His elegant and classic look was truly captivating.
In particular, Jimin, who gained worldwide attention from news outlets like the AP after attending the Dior Men's Fall/Winter 2023-2024 fashion show in Paris last January, once again made headlines as fans chanting his name lined up for two blocks around the event.
Amidst such fervor, Alexandre Arnault, son of LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault and Tiffany's Executive Vice President, expressed his amazement by posting a video of the gathered fans on his social media and later shared a photo with Jimin, conveying his gratitude.
Tiffany CEO Anthony Ledru also showed an excited reaction at his meeting with Jimin, saying, "It's amazing today. There are so many fans waiting outside just for today."
Jimin shared moments from the Tiffany flagship store on his Instagram, even revealing a photo with American pop star Pharrell Williams, who is well-known for his song "Happy."
Meanwhile, Jimin's "Like Crazy" topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, making history as the first Korean solo artist to achieve such a feat, conquering the birthplace of pop. In addition to his music accomplishments, Jimin continues to exert a powerful influence in the fashion world, shining his name globally.
