BTS Suga Kicks Off First Solo World Tour in the US
BTS Suga is set to embark on his first solo world tour.
On April 26 (EDT), Suga will raise the curtain on the "Suga | Agust D-Day Tour" at the Belmont Park UBS Arena in New York, USA.
For two months, Suga will visit a total of 9 cities (25 shows) from the United States to Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Seoul, performing his first solo concerts since his debut.
Suga plans to showcase a range of performances covering both Suga and Agust D during the 'Suga | Agust D-Day Tour.' This will include his solo album 'D-Day,' released on the 21st under the name Agust D, as well as his mixtapes 'Agust D' (2016) and 'D-2' (2020). As 'D-Day' is the conclusion of the Agust D trilogy, the concert is expected to fully capture his past journey.
The 'Suga | Agust D-Day Tour' focuses on the story of Suga and Agust D, both before and after their debut and at various turning points. The stage production and setlist are arranged to best convey the history of Suga's transformation and the Agust D trilogy. Fans will be able to catch a glimpse of Suga and Agust D's identities, as well as the traces of their ongoing concerns as musicians.
Suga will reveal a different side of himself from his BTS performances, showcasing his solo work on stage. One of the highlights of this concert will be the special stages featuring Suga's unique concepts and charms.
"I have been practicing consistently for this solo tour. My heart feels lighter than ever before when preparing for a concert, and I'm thrilled to meet all the fans. I hope you all enjoy and have a happy time," Suga shared his thoughts.
Starting with Belmont Park on the 26th and 27th, Suga plans to continue his US tour in Newark on the 29th, Rosemont on May 3rd, 5th, and 6th, Los Angeles on May 10th, 11th, and 14th, and Oakland on May 16th and 17th.
