Kim Min Ah Breaks Up: 'We Naturally Met and Separated'
Former weathercaster and TV personality Kim Min Ah has confirmed her breakup.
It has been revealed that Kim Min Ah parted ways with her non-celebrity boyfriend earlier this year. A close acquaintance of Kim Min Ah said, "Like any other couple, they naturally met and eventually went their separate ways."
Her agency, SM C&C, also acknowledged the breakup.
News of Kim Min Ah's relationship surfaced in October of last year. At the time, it was reported that she was dating a media entrepreneur who was nine years her senior and the CEO of a production company that creates content for famous celebrities' YouTube channels. Her agency confirmed the relationship, saying, "They are quietly continuing their relationship, and we would appreciate it if you could watch over them with a generous heart."
Following the breakup, Kim Min Ah has continued her activities without any changes. She has been hosting KBS JOY's "20th Century Hit Song" since its launch in March 2020.
Meanwhile, Kim Min Ah debuted as a JTBC weathercaster in 2016. She concluded her five-year weathercaster career in 2020 when JTBC restructured its news and eliminated the weather segment. She has since been active as an MC for web entertainment programs such as "Workman," "20th Century Hit Song," and Discovery Korea's "Profiler." Since 2020, she has been actively working under an exclusive contract with SM C&C, which also manages Kang Ho Dong, Shin Dong Yup, Lee Soo Geun, and Jun Hyun Moo.
