'Music Bank' Cancels Arrival Schedule in Mourning for Late ASTRO Member Moonbin, Promises 'Calm Broadcast'
As ASTRO member Moonbin has passed away, "Music Bank" has expressed its condolences by canceling the arrival schedule.
According to a broadcast official on April 20, the live broadcast of KBS2 "Music Bank" scheduled for the 21st has decided to cancel the arrival filming schedule.
However, the broadcast will proceed as planned. At the end of the broadcast, a mourning caption for the late Moonbin will be inserted, and the program is expected to continue with a calm tone.
ASTRO's agency, Fantagio, announced on the 20th, "On the 19th, our member Moonbin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky."
The agency added, "We cannot compare to the sadness of the bereaved family who sent away their beloved son and brother, but all the ASTRO members, fellow Fantagio artists, and employees who have been together for a long time are deeply mourning the deceased in great sorrow and shock."
Furthermore, they said, "Our hearts are heavy as we deliver this sudden news to the fans who have supported and loved Moonbin unconditionally. Knowing the deceased's heart, who always loved and thought of the fans more than anyone, makes it even more heartbreaking."
The late Moonbin's funeral is set up at Seoul Asan Hospital. The funeral procession will take place on April 22 (KST).
