GOT7 and M2 are starting the year strong by picking up awards from the Vega Digital Awards. GOT7's Hand Carry and M2's Relay Dance both walked away with new wins for 2020.

The Vega Digital Awards is an award-giving body that recognizes outstanding performances, talents, and efforts of the best digital and creative professionals, web developers, web designers, and web agencies around the world.

Among those screened to receive the awards are digital and creative professionals, ad agencies, PR firms, and interactive agencies, web developers, companies and no-profit organizations who work towards delivering innovative content and developing the biggest and brightest stars of the digital media universe, All Kpop reported.

GOT7's collaboration with M2, which is a reality show with two seasons entitled Hand Carry chronicles the adventures of GOT7 members as they go on different missions all around the globe. The show drew millions of views because of the members' antics and unique interactions.

Another show developed by M2, which featured the Relay Dance segments of different Kpop idol groups, also picked up an award for the Video / Online Video (Single) Music /Voice Performance category. The segment became viral among Kpop fans because it showed Kpop idols dancing in a line as opposed to their original dance choreography formations.

Most recently, GOT7 member Jinyoung took the initiative to donate an undisclosed amount to organizations caring for the welfare of wild animals in Australia. His donation was reportedly made to protect surviving wildlife such as koalas and kangaroos that were affected by bushfires in Australia.

"It is true that Jinyoung donated money to the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement," JYP Entertainment confirmed in a statement but did not provide more details about Jinyoung's donation.

According to a report by Soompi, KFEM is one of the biggest environmental nonprofit groups in the world and is the only one in Korea that provides aid on a global scale.

Jinyoung has reportedly been cast in the new tvN drama The Most Beautiful Moment in Life where he was tapped to play the younger version of the character named Han Jae Hyun who will be played by Yoo Ji Tae later in the series.The story revolves around a woman named Yoon Ji Soo who meets with her first love while they are in their 40s. The role of Yoon Ji Soo was offered to Lee Bo Young while the role of the younger version was offered to Jeon So Nee.
