Late Moonbin's Heartfelt Interview Resurfaces: 'Ending One's Own Life, It's Heartbreaking and Regrettable'
As everyone is in shock from ASTRO's Moonbin's sudden death, one of his past interviews is being brought back into the spotlight.
During a Cosmopolitan Korea photo shoot interview in September of last year, Moonbin was asked, "If you could do one good deed as an angel, what would it be?" At the time, he was participating in a photo shoot with a 'fallen angel' concept.
Moonbin replied, "I'd like to give those who ended their own lives another chance. In reality, we never know when or where something may happen, but we don't live our lives always thinking about death. We're often preoccupied with happy thoughts like what to eat today or what to wear tomorrow. The idea of ending one's own life is just so heartbreaking and regrettable."
Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam, Seoul, around 8:10 pm on the 19th, at the age of 25. Police are currently investigating his death as a suicide.
The funeral hall has been set up at Seoul Asan Hospital in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The funeral procession will take place on the 22nd. According to Fantagio, his agency, the funeral will be held as quietly as possible, with only family, relatives, and company colleagues attending, in accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family. Moon Sua, Moonbin's fellow entertainer and younger sister, is said to be watching over the funeral hall as the chief mourner.
