IVE's Liz Shares Emotional Letter with Fans, Sparking Concerns About Her Mental Health: 'DIVE Is My Only Support System'
IVE's lead vocalist Liz recently posted an emotional letter on the group's official fan café, addressing their fans, known as DIVEs. The heartfelt content of the letter has raised concerns about the singer's mental well-being, leading to speculation that she might be secretly struggling with depression.
IVE's Hit Comeback with "I AM"
The popular K-Pop girl group IVE recently made a triumphant comeback with their album "I AM." Displaying a more sophisticated and chic style compared to their earlier preppy image, the group has been making an impact in the music industry. As their promotions come to an end, Liz decided to express her gratitude and share her thoughts with fans.
Liz's Letter: Revealing Her Inner Battles
In her letter, Liz opened up about her struggles with self-doubt and the impact DIVEs have had on her life. She wrote:
"Hi, it's Liz. I couldn't sleep last night, so I read the letters that DIVEs wrote to me on the café. It deeply moved me and made me think about my purpose. Instead of just pondering it myself, I wanted to share my thoughts with DIVE."
Liz confessed that she initially doubted her ability to provide strength and support to others. However, her interactions with DIVEs helped her realize the extent of her influence on fans:
"At first, I was unsure and skeptical about my ability to be anyone's source of support... I thought people's words might be empty, but I realized I was wrong. DIVE helped me change that mindset. I genuinely rely only on you guys. DIVE is my sole support system, the only one I have."
Liz's Message of Hope and Appreciation
The singer also offered comforting words to her fans, expressing her hope that they continue to support her and the group in the future. She said:
"Honestly, I don't expect anyone to tell me I'm right when I know I'm wrong. I just hope for one thing - that you stay by my side. With this full-length album comeback, I've asked that of you a lot. I hoped you would love it and acknowledge our efforts. I know you'll love us regardless, but this was my first time attempting a new look, so it felt awkward and uncertain. But now, I'm more confident - all thanks to DIVE."
Liz pledged to stay strong and show her brighter side to fans, asking DIVEs to remain as they are and look forward to the future together:
"From now on, I promise to withstand any challenges that come my way so I can consistently show DIVE my positive side. I'll be a good person for you. So, DIVE, stay as you are now - that's enough. Let's hold hands and move forward together. No matter who calls us from behind, promise not to follow them. I love you, DIVE. More than you know."
Liz's honest letter has sparked concerns about her mental health, with fans and netizens offering their support and encouragement. While it remains uncertain whether the singer is battling depression, her willingness to share her struggles has undoubtedly touched many hearts.
