IVE to Release Limited Edition Album for Fans on April 28
Girl group IVE is set to release a special limited edition album. Following their debut album, "I've IVE," which sold over 1.1 million copies in its first week, making them a 'two-time million-seller' artist, IVE is now launching the "IVE THE 1ST ALBUM SPECIAL ver."
The special limited edition album showcases IVE's unique confidence with a modern and intense charisma, featuring a clean "black and white" combination. The album package is wider than their previous release, hinting at the rich content of the special version.
IVE's limited edition album includes a photobook (1 type), CD (1 type), sticker set (2 types per set), and a random photo card (1 of 6 types). The 128-page photobook features a variety of photos that capture the concepts of "power high teen," "girl crush," and "elegant beauty," as shown in tracks such as "Kitsch" and "I AM." The sticker set, highlighting each member's distinct personality, also adds value to the collection.
The randomly given photo card, 1 out of 6 types, shows the members striking special poses, further sparking fans' curiosity.
IVE's first full-length album, released on April 10, made them a two-time million-seller. According to Hanteo Chart, the largest album sales aggregation site in South Korea, "I've IVE" recorded 1,102,107 copies in its first-week sales. This achievement ranks third among all-time girl group first-week sales.
In addition to album sales, IVE continues to dominate music charts. As of 10 a.m. on April 18, "I AM" and "Kitsch" are receiving strong support from fans, ranking first and second on real-time, daily, weekly, and TOP100 charts on major domestic music sites.
The special version of "I've IVE" will be sold as a limited edition, with the official release date set for April 28.
