Bang Si-Hyuk, BTS Creator, Buys $26 Million Bel Air Mansion Once Owned by Trevor Noah
Bang Si-Hyuk, the mastermind behind global sensation BTS, has acquired a stunning mansion in Los Angeles previously owned by comedian Trevor Noah. The Bel Air estate, designed by architect Mark Rios, sits on a 0.98-acre lot and was initially sold to the "Daily Show" star for $27.5 million, according to Dirt. However, Bang purchased it for $26.4 million.
The luxurious mansion offers 11,375 square feet of living space, six bedrooms, and nine and a half bathrooms. Influenced by Japanese minimalism, its ultra-contemporary design emphasizes simplicity, cleanliness, and an uncluttered environment. The hillside property offers spectacular ocean and mountain views, and the open-concept living room extends to an outdoor patio, providing ample fresh air and a stunning cityscape view.
Bang's new residence boasts top-notch amenities, including a library, gym, lounge, gourmet kitchen with an eat-in island, and a separate wine room with a "secret" door leading to a hidden elevator, as reported by Dirt. The home also features wide-plank hardwood floors imported from Germany.
The estate provides ample security with a gated motor court and separate gated entrances for staff. There is private parking available for at least ten vehicles, depending on their size. The expansive backyard is ideal for large gatherings, featuring a spacious grassy lawn, an open-air pavilion for dining, a full outdoor kitchen and bar, an infinity pool, and a Japanese-style spa complete with sauna, massage, and changing rooms.
For those interested in stargazing, the property offers a rooftop terrace that doubles as an outdoor screening room.
Bang Si-Hyuk is the founder and chairman of Hybe, formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment, one of South Korea's biggest music labels and entertainment agencies. Responsible for popular acts like BTS, Tomorrow X Together, and Enhypen, Bang became a billionaire after taking the company public in October 2020. According to Forbes, he is currently worth $2.5 billion and was previously featured on Forbes' 2022 list of Korea's 50 richest people, with an estimated net worth of $3.3 billion.
Although Bang stepped down as Hybe's CEO in 2021 to focus on music production, he remains the chairman of the board of directors.
