IVE Shares Upgraded Living Arrangements After Winning Grand Prize: 'Two Houses and Individual Rooms' ('Knowing Bros')
Girl group IVE revealed the changes in their company's treatment following their grand prize win.
On the April 15th episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' IVE made an appearance, showcasing their candid selves as they discussed their recent comeback with their first full-length album.
Kim Hee-Chul asked, "How has the company's treatment changed after winning the grand prize?" Ahn Yu-Jin responded, "We're moving to a new dorm." She continued excitedly, "We used to live together in a large space, but now we're splitting into two houses. We're living three members per house and have individual rooms for the first time."
At this, Lee Sang-Min jokingly offered, "Isn't it better to have a house with six rooms? If it's near Seoul, I'll help you find one. But in return, you'll have to help me find a place and reduce my moving expenses."
During the episode, Jang Won-Young expressed her doubts about being included in the top 100 most beautiful people list. She said, "I liked 'Kitch' more than 'I Am' from our new songs. However, all the members preferred 'I Am.' I'm so curious about the public's reaction when we release both songs."
When asked about their mindset after winning both rookie and grand prizes in their debut year, IVE's leader Ahn Yu-Jin said, "We have a grand prize mindset on stage and a rookie mindset off stage."
The 'Knowing Bros' members admired Lee Seo's middle school graduation photo, which looked like a professional profile picture. They then revealed their own graduation albums, to which Jang Won-Young lost words, saying, "It doesn't look like a middle school photo."
Ahn Yu-Jin shared, "For the first time, I participated in writing lyrics for a song on this full-length album. The song 'Heroine' has my lyrics." The members then explained, "The lyrics 'I can't help it, I am' make up half of the song, but it's really good."
IVE performed their hit songs, including "Love Dive" and their new track "Kitch," while wearing school uniforms, receiving enthusiastic responses from the 'Knowing Bros' members. Lastly, they showcased their title track "I Am," proudly announcing, "We're revealing this for the first time on a variety show."
