Singer Lady Jane (real name Jeon Ji-hye) opened up about her love story with actor Lim Hyun-tae, who is 10 years her junior, and shared her thoughts about their upcoming wedding.

In a phone interview with Xportsnews on April 14, Lady Jane said, "The wedding news came out suddenly and I didn't want to make a fuss about it, so I planned to announce it slowly. It was surprising when it got out. I was worried that it might look strange," but she also expressed gratitude for the congratulations she received.

The wedding ceremony will take place on October 14 in Seoul. Born in 1984, Lady Jane is 10 years older than Lim Hyun-tae, born in 1994. The couple has been dating for seven years before deciding to tie the knot.

Lady Jane spoke affectionately about Lim Hyun-tae, saying, "He's very mature, kind, and good-hearted. That's why we've been able to date without trouble for so long. I've tried to be a source of strength for him during tough times, too. He has been a great support to me as well, especially when I was exhausted or struggling in the entertainment industry. We've been a great source of strength for each other."

She also shared their love story, revealing that at first, she was cautious about the age gap and didn't save his number for several months. However, after he consistently contacted her during holidays for a year, she began to see that he was sincere and started to open up to him.

Lady Jane mentioned that Lim Hyun-tae had once said she was his ideal type before they started dating. He showed her the article, and she felt his genuine feelings and accepted his heart. Their relationship blossomed as a result of his persistence.

After the wedding, Lady Jane and Lim Hyun-tae plan to continue their careers actively. She said, "I'll keep doing my usual broadcasts, and he'll continue working as an actor. I'm also looking for acting roles. We'll continue our activities just like now, without any changes after marriage. Please support us."

Lady Jane debuted as the vocalist of indie band Aquibird in 2006 and has been involved in various broadcast activities. Last year, she made her acting debut in Netflix's original series "The Bride of Black". Lim Hyun-tae debuted as a member of the group Bigflo under the name HighTop in 2014, before transitioning to a musical actor under his real name.
