Ji Soo Exudes Youthful Energy In New Stills Of ‘When I Was The Prettiest’
MBC’s “When I Was The Prettiest” (LT) released new stills that reflect an innocent and youthful vibe while wearing a school uniform.
“When I Was The Prettiest” is an awkward love story about two brothers who fell in love with the same woman. The ceramic artist named Oh Ye Ji will be taken part by Im Soo Hyang, who is Seo Hwan’s (Ji Soo), first love. Ha Seok Jin will embody Seo Jin’s older brother, who becomes his rival for Oh Ye Ji’s attention. (via Soompi)
Seo Hwan is sentimental and sincere to the people around him, and he never gives up on the feelings he invested for Oh Ye Ji. He will deliver a dangerous one-sided love for Oh Ye Ji in the “When I Was The Prettiest.”
In the newly released stills of Ji Soo in the drama, his character Seo Hwan exudes youthful and innocent energy in a school uniform. Taking part in an excellent performance in “My First First Love” and “Ping Pong Ball,” fans can’t contain their excitement about the new flavor that Ji Soo will serve in his new character.
Ji Soo expressed the kind of man he will be portraying in the drama and said that Seo Hwan is an affectionate and warm-hearted youth. He noted that his character would reveal a pure young man who can be compared to healthy organic vegetables.
While acting Seo Hwan, he said that he got a feeling that resembles a particular point of his youth. He elaborated that everyone has probably experienced in their childhood to be broken-hearted so viewers will relate to that point. Ji Soo hopes that their show “When I Was the Prettiest” would become a drama that will comfort the viewers in this challenging season.
Meanwhile, the production team revealed that Seo Hwan, in the drama, is a pure and bright high school student with deep thoughts. They noted that Ji Soo has been doing well in his portrayal of the said role and asked viewers to keep an eye for Seo Hwan as he matures after opening his eyes to love.
The complicated love triangle story of “When I Was The Prettiest” will be aired on August 19, at 9:30 PM, KST.
