IVE Unleashes a Storm of 'Kitsch' with 10 More Tracks in Debut Album
K-pop group IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Lee Seo) is set to release their first full-length album.
On April 10, IVE will release their first full-length album, 'I've IVE,' featuring 11 tracks, including the title track 'I AM,' as well as 'Blue Blood,' 'Kitsch,' 'Lips,' 'Heroine,' 'Mine,' 'Hypnosis,' 'NOT YOUR GIRL,' 'Next Page,' 'Cherish,' and 'Shine With Me.'
The title track 'I AM' carries the message of discovering a different self from yesterday. Hitmaker Ryan Jhun participated in composing and arranging the track, maximizing the dynamic sound with escalating drum beats and bass. Lyricist Kim Eana crafted the lyrics, infusing them with the attitude of living an autonomous life.
IVE members have credits on seven of the album tracks. Ahn Yujin wrote 'Heroine,' while Jang Wonyoung wrote 'Mine' and 'Shine With Me' solo. Gaeul and Rei participated in rap making for four tracks, including 'Kitsch,' 'Hypnosis,' 'NOT YOUR GIRL,' and 'Next Page.'
IVE kickstarted their popularity by pre-releasing the track 'Kitsch' on the 27th of last month, which led to a series of chart-topping performances on various music charts and broadcasts. The full album will be released on various music platforms at 6 p.m. today.
