Apink's Captivating 'D N D' Performance Debuts on 'Music Bank' Following Comeback
Girl group Apink is set to hold their first music show performance following their comeback with the new song "D N D (Do Not Disturb)."
IST Entertainment announced on April 7 (Local time) that "Apink will officially begin their comeback activities with the first music show performance of their new song "D N D" on KBS2's "Music Bank" at 5 PM today."
Apink released their 10th mini-album 'SELF' on the 5th, marking their comeback after a year and two months. Immediately after their comeback, the title track "D N D" entered Melon's Top 100 and reached top spots on major domestic music charts such as Genie. The album also achieved #1 on iTunes Top Album Charts in Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, as well as Top 10 in ten countries including Indonesia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Mexico, Taiwan, and Thailand, proving their status as a 'legendary girl group' both in Korea and abroad.
The performance of Apink's new song "D N D" is highlighted by its 'Do Not Disturb' choreography and signature 'Apink-style' healing energy. Internationally renowned choreographers Kiel Tutin and Jonain participated in creating the performance, which features an easy-to-follow yet intensely addictive point dance during the chorus, expressing 'Do Not Disturb' with outstretched hands. Additionally, Apink members will transform into 'national healing idols' by conveying a message of support with their bright and cheerful energy.
Moreover, Apink plans to showcase a rich comeback performance by presenting their B-side track "Me, Myself & I" on stage as well. "Me, Myself & I" is an impressive song with a beautiful piano line, delicate string line, and the members' fantastic harmony. Park Chorong's lyrics, which contain a message of comfort, add a special touch to the song and increase anticipation.
'D N D' conveys a hopeful message that encourages listeners to imagine their own world without anyone's disturbance. The song features high and refreshing phrases and an impressive groove. The new album includes a total of five diverse genre tracks, such as the title track "D N D," "Withcha," "Me, Myself & I," "Candy," and "You Only Need to Know."
Meanwhile, Apink is expected to kick off their full-fledged comeback activities with their first music show performance on KBS2's "Music Bank" today.
