Former Wonder Girls Member Sunye Appointed as University Professor in Music
Sunye, a former member of the girl group Wonder Girls, has been appointed as a university professor.
According to a Herald POP report on April 6, Sunye was appointed as a full-time professor in the Department of Applied Music at Gangseo University in March. Sunye is now in charge of special lectures and lessons for students in the department.
The appointment ceremony for Sunye as a full-time professor in the Department of Applied Music took place on March 2nd in the main conference room of Gangseo University. Sunye has embarked on a new challenge as a university professor.
Debuting as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007, Sunye married a Canadian-Korean missionary in 2013 and has three daughters. In July 2015, after her marriage, she officially withdrew from Wonder Girls. Sunye has continued her career as a singer by releasing her first solo album "Genuine" and has gained attention through appearances on variety programs such as tvN's "Mom is an Idol."
Recently, Sunye met with fans through the musical "Ruth," which was held at the Kwanglim Arts Center BBCH Hall from March 5th to April 2nd.
