Choi Jin Hyuk Is A Zombie Detective Who Does Not Tolerate Injustice In His Upcoming Drama
The upcoming zombie-themed drama of KBS, “Zombie Detective,” has released stills of Choi Jin Hyuk.
Per Soompi, the “Zombie Detective” is a new “human comedy” drama that tells about the story of a zombie in his second year of resurrection and became a detective after fixing his inarticulate speech and awkward gait, striving to seek out the truth about his past.
Choi Jin Hyuk will play the titular zombie detective who finds himself struggling to adapt to his new life named Kim Moo Young. He will become a sexy, relatable zombie who’s aside from having an impressive physique, also has a heart of gold.
In the newly released images for the upcoming drama, the zombie appears to have a sorrowful gaze that hints his character’s loneliness as he makes a fresh start as a detective. The zombie detective Kim Moo Young seems to be lost in thoughts, which is opposite to what most perceive about the character of a zombie found in a horror genre.
Another photo still shows a Kim Moo Young squaring for a fight with a fierce glint in his eye that looks like a real detective who does not tolerate injustice.
Meanwhile, Park Ju Hyun will pair up with the zombie detective as an investigative journalist named Gong Seon Ji. She will meet Kim Moo Young after leaving her first job and begins to work with him.
Other cast includes Kwon Hwa Woon, who will play the violent crime detective named Cha Do Hyun. Bo Ra and Ahn Se Ha will become couples in the series named Gong Sun Young and Lee Tae Kyun. Also, in the show, Lim Seo Joo as Gong Seon Ji’s friend and Bae Yoo Ram, are exceptional producers of a broadcasting station.
The premiere of the KBS’ “Zombie Detective” is scheduled in the later part of 2020, following the end of KBS 2TV’s romantic comedy “To All The Guys Who Loved Me.”
