Are NCT 127's Mark And Oh My Girl's Arin Dating? Agencies Finally Respond
The agencies of NCT 127's Mark and Oh My Girl's Arin have finally addressed the dating rumors that have been swirling around the two K-Pop singers recently.
Representatives of both South Korean singers have denied that the two are dating. The rumors started when a report by a media outlet opined that a photo, where Arin can be seen kissing the sun, which she had uploaded on her personal Instagram handle on February 5, seemed to be quite similar in the pose, angle, and manner to a photo the NCT 127's Mark had posted in October last year.
Representatives of SM Entertainment, which manages Mark, jumped into action immediately to state that the singer's dating rumor was groundless.
A source from WM Entertainment, which manages Arin, similarly commented that the dating rumors were groundless. Furthermore, the singer's father had captured the photo while the family was on a vacation.
In general, looking at the sun with a kissing pout is known as the "kissing the sun" pose, which is quite common and popular among both celebrities as well as non-celebrities.
Incidentally, Marka and Arin have been good friends since they were classmates in high school for three years.
Meanwhile, Mark will soon transform into a one-day weather forecaster and appear on JTBC Newsroom. The information was shared by SM Entertainment.
Mark will join JTBC Meteorological Center's Lee Jae Seung to report on a weather forecast together and also talk about some of his personal stories about recent activities.
Mark will promote and introduce the title song "Ay-Yo" from NCT 127's fourth repackage album, which was released on January 30. The band recently showcased their worldwide popularity by successfully completing "Neo City : The Link", their second world tour last month, and have been actively promoting their latest song.
23-year-old Arin made her debut as a member of "Oh My Girl" in April 20215. The group first performed their debut single song on "The Show", which aired on SBS MTV.
Oh My Girl comprises six members, in addition to Arin, including Yubin, Seunghee, YooA, Mimi, and Hyojung. The group originally had eight members, however, first JinE left the band in October 2017 and then Jiho left last year in May.
the last album released by Oh My Girl was "Real Love", their second Korean album on March 28 in 2021.
