BLACKPINK Holds No. 1 Spot On K-Pop Music Charts With 'How You Like That'
Kpop group BLACKPINK retains the number one spot on the K-Pop Music Charts with the smashing hit "How You Like That" for three weeks straight. BLACKPINK's number one hit garnered a perfect score on the K-Pop Music Charts and has won 12 music show awards.
Other top hits on the K-Pop Music charts are Hwasa's "Maria" on the second spot and Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi with "Monster" on the third spot. GFRIEND's "Apple" is a newly released hit song for the girl group from their mini-album called "Song of Sirens."
BLACKPINK has also set the bar high with their latest hit song "How You Like That." Guinness World Records reported that the Kpop girl group broke three records for their track, including Most Viewed Youtube Video, Most Viewed Youtube Video in 24 Hours, and the Most Viewed Youtube Video in 24 Hours by a Kpop group.
Meanwhile, Youtube confirms that BLACKPINK's live premiere of "How You Like That" reached 1.66 million concurrent views adding two milestones for the group for Most Viewers for the Premiere of a Video on Youtube and Most Viewers for the Premiere of a Music Video on Youtube.
All mentioned records were surpassed by BLACKPINK from the previous record-holder BTS, from their top hit "Boy With Luv," featuring Halsey in 2019. "How You Like That" has a whopping 74.6 million views on Youtube within the song's day of release.
With the success of "How You Like That," BLACKPINK has 42.6 million Youtube subscribers as of writing, surpassing Ariana Grande, who has 42.3 million subscribers. Other music icons with a huge number of followers are Justin Bieber with 55.6 million subscribers, Marshmello with 47.1 million subscribers, Eminem with 43.6 million subscribers, and BLACKPINK with 42.6 million.
BLACKPINK was formed in 2016 and was featured in Lady Gaga's "Sour Candy" with massive success in both the USA and the UK. BLACKPINK is one of the most followed Kpop all-girl group on Spotify as to date.
BLACKPINK's new single "How You Like That" has become a global hit with 352.5 million views on Youtube as of July 28.
