The Bangtan Boys have been snagging Grammy nominations for three years consecutively, however, the nominations for the award show to be held in 2023 are extra special as "Yet to Come" has got a mainstream nomination for "Best Music Video.

BTS has received two nominations in total, the other category is Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their collaborative song with Coldplay called "My Universe". The 65 Grammy Awards mark the first time that BTS has received more than one nomination.

The music video for "Yet To Come", helmed by LUMPENS' Yong-Seok Choi, a frequent collaborator with BTS, showcases a trip down memory lane for the iconic band, showing their humble starting to the most beautiful moments of them together as well as with their fans, known as the ARMY.

According to a statement released by Big Hit Music, BTS's label, during the song's release, "Yet To Come" was not just one of the band's final songs for the moment, but a promise by them to return, and a promise that there is much more that is yet to come in the future years for BTS.

The song is from "Proof", an anthology album from the "Kings of K-Pop" that was released earlier this year, as a celebration of 10 years of the band.

The other nominations in the "Best Music Video" category are "All Too Well: The Short Film" by Taylor Swift, "The Heart Part 5" by Kendrick Lamar, "Woman" by Doja Cat, "Easy On Me" by Adele, and "As It Was" by Harry Styles.

"Yet To Come" is also the first song in the Korean language by BTS to earn a Grammy nomination, as the nominations of their hit singles in English, namely "Butter" and "Dynamite".

Meanwhile, BTS also bagged a nomination alongside Coldplay in the Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album categories for their contribution to their album, "Music of the Spheres".

BTS's Grammy nominations come on the heels of their official hiatus announcement. As each of the seven members prepares to serve their compulsory military service, they will also be focusing on solo projects. The oldest member of the group, Jin, will serve first.

The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at 8 PM ET. It will broadcast and stream live on Paramount and CBS.
