BTS Is Set To Release An English Song Next Month
The South Korean international pop stars, BTS, have spilled the news of their plans in dropping a new English language single next month. The upcoming single comes after the band’s chart-topping ‘Map of The Soul:7 – The Journey’ album release this month.
The all-boy group, consisting of RM, J-hope, Suga, V, Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook, announced the big revelation during one of their live stream on the Korean broadcasting application, V LIVE. According to the idols’ statement, they solely “wanted to share some positive energy” to their beloved ARMYs considering the harsh and rough times everyone is battling right now due to the global pandemic caused by COVID-19.
“We have prepared a new single for ARMY,” BTS said, then adding to reveal that the “new” track will be made available on August 21.
Per NME, referencing BTS’s statement, the group has recently been working on an album to be released before the year ends, but they decided to release a single first because they felt like they wanted to reach out to their fans as soon as possible.
In an article by Siachen Studios, the track’s title is still unknown. However, the forthcoming record will kick off BTS’ next studio album.
The live stream went on with BTS explaining what the track’s all about. The song will be in an upbeat style, same as their previous tracks titled ‘MIC Drop’ and ‘Waste It on Me.’ At the moment, their firm decision to sing it in English is a confirmed matter. They already recorded the guide version of the song.
Recently, the all-boy K-pop ensemble has dropped their latest Japanese album entitled ‘Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey, that climbed its way to the no. 1 spot on Oricon’s Daily Album charts. The track comes with a pre-release single called ‘Stay Gold’ made purposely to encourage and uplift the ARMYs during this time of crisis.
