Korean Celebrities Who Suddenly Disappeared From The Limelight
When Korean celebrities end up leaving the media industry, fans automatically investigate to get some further information. However, in some cases, there were Korean celebrities who seemed to have disappeared without warning.
Below is a compilation of Korean stars who suddenly vanished from the entertainment world:
ORI
Ori debuted at KBS Music Bank in 2009, and that was the last time people had ever seen her.
Some netizens condemned her debut stage excessively, tagging her debut as one of the worse in K-pop. Ori hasn't been seen since after her first debut stage performance. Some claim that Ori went into depression and left the entertainment industry due to critical remarks.
"The tension was such that I had depression and the associated gastrointestinal conditions among my high school days. I dropped my musical passion at that moment. I have served in a duty-free international airport store and have been dumped in the world," Ori said in a YouTube channel named 'Mightnight Theories.'
Ori now lives in Japan and reportedly intends to become a composer.
Lee Tae Im
Actress Lee Tae Im announced her retirement from the media industry in 2018 in an unbelievable way. It apparently came out of nowhere, and her agency didn't even know. As a place to approach her non-celebrity way of living, Lee Tae Im erased her profile from several portals.
With her now-closed Instagram account, she did send her supporters a final post. She mentioned in the letter that she was going through a difficult time and decided to live her life as a non-celebrity. She concluded the short message by acknowledging her fans and those who supported her.
G.NA
In 2016, a pornography scandal was exposed, in which G.NA reportedly paid approximately 35,000,000 KRW for sex with an American businessman.
While G.NA accepted the allegations in no small degree, she claimed she was unaware of any money exchange. G.NA vanished from the entertainment sector after this fiasco. It wasn't until 2020 that G.NA update her Instagram.

Cha Yoon Ji made her debut EP "I Dream" in 2017. Nonetheless, this was the only recording that she produced, and for several years Cha Yoon Ji was idle as an artist. She appeared after her appearance in 'The Unit' survival series but departed because of health reasons.
