BTS's Jimin is going to lend his voice for the official soundtrack of "Our Blues", the upcoming K-drama on tvN.

The producer of the OST for "Our Blues", Yum Nyam Entertainment confirmed the news on March 15 saying that Mochi will participate as the singer for the new drama, which will be aired on Saturdays and Sundays. He added that the song will bring vitality to the drama.

"Our Blues" is a drama that will showcase the bitter and sweet lives of all those who stand at the beginning, climax, or end of life. The show will be following an omnibus format that will narrate the stories of each of the characters against the background of Jeju Island.

The first episode of "Our Blues" will be aired on April 9 at 9:10 PM KST on tvN. The drama, which will have 20 episodes, will also be available on streaming platform giant Netflix in selected regions.

Famous Korean screenwriter Noh Hee-Kung has written the series, which is directed by Kim Kyu-Tae. The two often team up together and have collaborated for many notable works, which include the 2016 tvN series "Dear My Friends" and the 20214 SBS drama series "It's Okay, That's Love".

The 14-member star-studded cast, including actors Ko Doo-shim, Kim Hye-Ja, Kim Woo-bin, Han Ji-min, Uhm Jung-Hwa, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Shin Min-ah, and Lee Byung-hun, have been a hot topic even before the series has been aired. Now that Jimin has been confirmed as the singer for the OST, the drama is attracting even more attention.

The individual members of the Bangtan Boys have been seen singing the OSTs for various dramas, Last year, Jin sang "Yours" for another tvN drama "Mt. Jirisan". The band's golden maknae Jungkook is still breaking records with his first solo official soundtrack "Stay Alive" for the Bangtan Boys webtoon, "7 Fates: Chakho", which was produced by fellow-band member SUGA.

Kim Taehyung V was the first BTS member to record an OST, namely "Sweet Night" for the 2020 K-drama "Itaewon Class". V also received a lot of love and also broke records with the OST he sang, namely "Christmas Tree" for "That Year We Are".

Now Jimin has also come on board and will sing his first OST. Incidentally, Jimin co-wrote and co-composed the "Friends" OST for the marvel movie "The Eternals". The song had V on the vocals.
