BTS Gets Three Nominations For 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards
The Bangtan Boys have got multiple nominations for the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
K-Pop mega idols BTS has been nominated for three awards at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards. They have earned nominations in the categories of Best Fan Army, Best MusicVideo, and Best Duo/Group of the Year.
Incidentally, the South-Korean band was nominated in the same three categories last year also, winning all three awards.
The Best Fan Army and Best Music Video awards are socially voted, the Best Duo/Group of the Year is not dependent on fan votes.
For the 2022 awards, BTS is up against Maroon 5, Dan + Shay, Silk Sonic, Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, and AJR for the Best Duo/Group of the Year category.
In the Best Music Video category, the Bangtan Boys' "Butter" will be competing against The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's "Stay", The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears", Justin Bieber's "Peaches" (featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon), Lil Nas X's "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)", Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic's "Leave the Door Open", Doja Cat's "Kiss Me More" (featuring SZA), Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license", Bella Poarch's "Build a B*tch", and Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits".
For the Best Fan Army Award, the K-pop septet will have a face-off with Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Big Time Rush, Louis Tomlinson, Olivia Rodrigo, Why Don't We, Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande.
The 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which marks the ninth year of the popular music awards show, will be broadcast live on March 22 at 8 PM ET.

In other news, South Korea's Overseas Culture Promotion Agency for Culture, Sports, and Tourism had carried out an online survey, "2021 National Image" among 12,500 people in the age 16 and above in 24 countries, including South Korea.
The online survey was conducted from September 1-29, 2021, and the results were declared on January 24, 2022. The top 10 spots were mostly dominated by South Koreans.
BTS ranked first on the list, followed by the President of South Korea Moon Jae. BLACKPINK got the third spot. PSY ranked sixth, "Parasite" director Bong Joon Ho ranked seventh, actress Song Hye Kyo ranked eighth, actor Song Joong Ki ranked ninth, and politician Ban Ki-Moon ranked tenth.
