Park Ji Hoon, The Boyz's Younghoon, and Lee Ruby Join First Script Reading Of 'Love Revolution'
Park Ji Hoon, Lee Ruby, and The Boyz's Younghoon sat down for "Love Revolution's" first script reading.
Kakao M's 30-episode drama "Love Revolution" gathered its cast for the first script reading involving, Park Ji Hoon, Lee Ruby, The Boyz's Younghoon, Jung Daeun, WJSN's Dayoung, Ahn Dokyu, and Go Chanbin. Each episode of the said drama series airs for approximately 20 minutes.
According to Soompi, the "Love Revolution" is based on a popular webtoon of the same title that will showcase a story of love and friendship among students. The series will center on the characters of the couple Gong Ju Young and Wang Ja Rim.
Readers have loved the webtoon since it was launched in 2013. The webtoon is known for its witty lines.
Park Ji Hoon plays the role of a 17-year-old Gong Ju Young who falls in love with Wang Ja Rim. During the script reading, Park Ji Hoon impresses the staff with his great chemistry with co-stars Lee Ruby and Younghoon.
The actor's experience and growth are evident as he advances to the mainstream from being trained as an actor since childhood.
Lee Ruby, who will be taking her first lead role, excellently portrayed her character's aloof and cold personality in the first script reading. Playing as Wang Ja Rim, she will fall in love with Gong Ju Young.
The upcoming drama "Love Revolution" is also The Boyz's Younghoon's first drama stint. He takes his first-ever role as Lee Kyung Woo, a friend of Gong Ju Young, for ten years. His character is aloof but playful and sweet sometimes.
More characters in the drama include Go Chan Bin, who will play the intelligent and funny Kim Byung Hoon, Ahn Do Gyu, who will portray Ahn Kyung Min and WJSN's Dayoung, Jung Da Eun, and Kim Seung Hee as Wang Ja Rim's friends.
At present, the cast is already filming the drama and is set to premiere on a video platform KakaoTalk.
