Sung Si Kyung Breaks Silence Over Stalking Allegations Against Him
Sung Si Kyung was accused of stalking and gaslighting by a woman who posted her complaints on the petition board of the Blue House. The news was reported earlier this week, and the 42-year-old singer was painted as a weird man who is leading a woman on but rejecting her when she expressed her feelings.
Since this is quite a damaging and serious allegation, Sung Si Kyung personally addressed the issue. Allkpop reported that on June 24, the singer talked about the accusations and the woman who tagged him as her stalker.
Through a live stream on his own YouTube channel, he narrated that he learned there was an article about him, and the content was not good. Since the topic is a bit sensitive, he contemplated whether to respond to the woman or not. In the end, he decided to do it to clarify the woman's claims.
"There was an article about me gaslighting, and I was a bit uncertain whether I should answer," Sung Si Kyung said. "She is probably watching this broadcast too and might be thinking, 'You are talking to me again."
He added that he did not respond when the news initially came out because he thought it would be better if there were no articles about it. This is because the media will surely write a lot if he spoke up last week, so he chose to keep quiet.
At any rate, Sung Si Kyung said that fans already know about this woman and her allegations even before the story was picked up by the media. He then refuted her claims by saying he thinks the woman really needs help and suggested for her to get treatment.
Sung Si Kyung was accused of stalking last week by a woman who said she was being watched by the singer and TV host. She noted that Si Kyung often checks out her social media and copies whatever she posts, like the places she visited.
For instance, if she dined at a restaurant, the singer would also go there, take photos and post it on his own social media. Meanwhile, as the woman posted her complaints through a petition, News Directory3 reported it had gained at least 51 signatures. Still, many fans believe she isdelusional.
