The Boyz’s Younghoon And EXID’s Jeonghwa Cast In Drama With Honey Lee And Lee Sang Yoon
The Boyz's Younghoon is the latest artist to join the cast of the upcoming comedy-drama titled One the Woman that will be led by senior actors Honey Lee and Lee Sang Yoon. It will air on SBS and is expected to premiere sometime in the second half of this year.
"Younghoon is confirmed to appear as actor Lee Sang Yoon's younger counterpart in SBS's new drama 'One the Woman' that will air in the second half of this year," Yonghoon's agency, Cre.Ker Entertainment said
Before the announcement of The Boyz's Younghoon's casting in the drama, it was reported that EXID member Jeonghwa was also confirmed to have joined the project. According to Soompi, she will take on a role as an announcer named Park So Yi, who is an extremely ambitious individual.
Although she already fulfilled her dream to be an announcer, she wants more. Probably, what is driving her to reach for more was her background. She came from nothing and went through a lot before attaining success.
In any case, One the Woman is about a corrupt female prosecutor who suffered from amnesia. She tried to regain her memories and, in the process, switched places with a chaebol daughter-in-law who looks exactly like her.
Apparently, Honey Lee will be doing a dual role of the prosecutor and a daughter-in-law in a chaebol family named Kang Mi Na. On the other hand, Lee Sang Yoon would be the male lead and will act opposite Honey Lee as Han Seung Wook, a third-generation in the family of chaebol.
Meanwhile, this is not The Boyz's Younghoon's first acting project. As mentioned on NME, he was previously cast as the male lead and debuted as an actor in Love Revolution, a web drama series.
