'Blue Birthday' Releases First Stills Featuring Red Velvet's Yeri
The upcoming web drama 'Blue Birthday' has released its first stills of Red Velvet's Yeri as Oh Ha Rin.
'Blue Birthday' is a fantasy romance and thriller where Red Velvet's Yeri plays the role of Oh Ye Rin. She revisits the past through mysterious photos left by her first love Ji Seo Jun (PENTEGON's Hongseok.)
Ji Seo Jun died on his birthday ten years ago. However, she had resolved to confess to him on her birthday, but Ji Seo Jun took his life, leaving her with shock and horror.
Recently, the web drama shares a glimpse of the 18-year-old Oh Ha Rin. Her face exudes bright energy and cheerfulness and shows youthful vibes with her stunning appearance. Oh Ha Rin's smile reminds the fans of the moments they experience having first love.
Oh Ha Rin's first love is no other than Ji Seo Jun. Both of them have been close friends since elementary school. One day, Oh Ha Rin's heart started to flutter for him, and she decided to confess her feeling to him finally.
However, she found him dead in the photo studio, where they made thousand of happy memories together. With that happening, her life has changed in so many ways.
The story portrays the process of the emotions she experienced, including the happy moments she felt when she was at the age of 18 to the point where she felt pain at the age of 28.
The production team commented that Yeri completely transformed into her character and expressed the cheerfulness and confidence of the teenager Oh Ha Rin. She also melted in the 28-year-old Oh Ha Rin, a character who lost her first love and going through grieving pain.
To provide high-quality drama, the production team is working hard with Yeri and all the other cast of the drama.
