APRIL's Chaewon Clears Out Allegations Between APRIL And Hyunjoo
APRIL's Chaewon responded to the allegations that APRIL members bullied former member Hyunjoo.
Earlier this year, the brother of Hyunjoo and her friends shared posts online alleging that Hyunjoo has been bullied by co-members of APRIL.
DSP Media also denied the allegations circulating and took legal action against Hyunjoo, her family, and friends. In April, Hyunjoo released a personal statement regarding the allegation, which DSP Media denied for the second time.
Chaewon and Yena were the first members of APRIL who responded to the allegations personally. Hyunjoo took legal action as a counter against a former DSP Media employee.
On the other hand, the defamation case from DSP Media against the acquaintances of Hyunjoo was dismissed by the police.
On June 17, Chaewon shared a statement on the official fan cafe of the group.
On her opening, she apologized to the fans who have been surprised by the sudden controversy. She is writing the post after some deliberation to reveal that Hyunjoo's claims are not valid.
Chaewon also discussed the happenings during their preparation for their debut. She stated that Hyunjoo often missed practicing because her body is aching. She often did not participate in the necessary lessons.
Although the managers are trying hard to take care of her, she continuously missed some practice because she is having difficulties even they have to work hard before the debut. As soon as they debuted, what they have been worrying to happen happened.
Hyunjoo suddenly disappeared as they are preparing for the 'Music Bank' appearance. The group has no idea why she left and left them no choice but to remain restless and fearful that she would disrupt the schedule.
Chaewon believed that the truth would come out if she waited, but now it made her feel not to wait anymore. What she wrote was all facts because all of their fans need to know the truth.
