Ahn Hyo Seop Confirmed As Lead In Upcoming Drama 'Office Blind Date'
Ahn Hyo Seop confirmed to be the male lead for the upcoming SBS romantic comedy drama.
On June 10, SBS reported that Ahn Hyo Seop would be starring in the upcoming SBS romantic comedy drama 'Office Blind Date.'
'Office Blind Date' tells a story of an office employee who goes on a blind date with the CEO of the company she is working with. She took in place of a friend and hiding her true identity.
In 2017, the author first published Hae Hwa's story as a web novel and was produced as a webtoon in 2018. In the previous year, KakaoPage announced that they would be adapting the web novel and webtoon into a drama.
Ahn Hyo Seop will be playing the third generation chaebol, Kang Tae Mu. He is a good-looking man, has a genius, and has impressive skills as a businessman. Kung Tae Mu is a workaholic who chooses to love his work more than himself.
Although he might seem to be the picture-perfect man, he struggles with love because of past trauma.
SBS first revealed that Jo Ba Ah is in talks to play Kang Ha Ri in March. However, in May, the production later announced that Kim Sejeong is also in the negotiations for the role. She is steadily rising and building her career with her latest drama, 'The Uncanny Counter.'
Ahn Hyo Seop made his debut back in 2015 and continued his career to fame with dramas such as 'Abyss' 'Dr. Romantic 2,' and ' 30 but 17.' Moreover, he is currently preparing for a historical drama, 'Red Sky,' with Kim Yoo Jung.
The upcoming romantic comedy-drama 'Office Blind Date' will start filming this second half of the year. The production plans to release the premiere of the drama in the first half of 2022 via SBS.
