Heo Young Ji Discloses How Idols Manage To Date Without Cellphones
Heo Young Ji has revealed some insight on how the idols date even though their agencies heavily monitor them.
In the May 12 episode of MBC, every1's 'South Korean Foreigners' was also a 'girl group by generation' special. It features Cleo's Chae Eun Jung, Chakra's Hwangbo, KARA's Heo Young Ji, and T-ara's Qri as guests.
During the show, the four beautiful ladies went to discuss the strict rules they have to follow. They have to follow these because they were implemented and enforced by their agencies. T-ara's Qri shared that when she was a rookie, she always have to monitor her weight, and her phone was taken away from her the day before they made their debut.
Cleo's Chae Eun Jung and Chakra's Hwangbo also shared that they could relate to the situation that Qri experienced. Both of them confirmed that the agency took their phones away before their debut.
Chase Eun Jung then surprised that everyone by remarking that in the times right now, even if you do not have a cellphone, everyone could still go to dates. Hwangbo was asked how that was possible, and she replied that there should be at least one to have a phone among the other members.
They would call that member who has a phone and ask to pass the phone to them. Hwangbo then laughed and said that she is not saying that she did that.
Heo Young Ji then butted in and said that they also experienced these strict rules during their time. When they got their phone taken away, they would connect their MP3 players to the internet. Since then, they could download different messaging applications and use them to chat about their dates.
