Han So Hee's Agency Debunks Casting Rumors For Upcoming Drama 'Island'
The agency of Han So Hee clarified that the actress was not part of the cast for the upcoming drama 'Island.'
SPOTV News reported on May 12 that Han So Hee had been selected as the female lead for 'Island.' However, the agency has proved this information wrong.
One of the sources from Han So Hee's agency, 9AtoEntertainment, released a statement. They said that the news of Han So Hee starring in the upcoming drama 'Island' is groundless. The agency also tagged it as a false report.
Sources from Studio Dragon and OCN also clarified that the female lead of the upcoming drama; Island' is yet to be decided, and the report in question is false.
'Island' is a fantasy exorcism drama based on a webtoon with the same name. The story revolves around Pan, a man who needs a woman to end his cursed immortal life. Also, Won Mi Ho is a daughter of a wealthy family who is being targeted by goblins.
The two were joined by the exorcist priest John who is then consumed by guilt by not protecting one girl. On the island that has evil and darkness even with the beauty that it possesses. The three characters who are unlikely to get together will be gathering their strength to protect one another.
Kim Nam Gil confirmed that he would be taking the role of the male lead Pan. Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO is also in talks and positively reviewing the offer for a role in the drama.
Seo Ye Ji is also in talks for an upcoming OCN drama but was swept up in a controversy about her alleged manipulations of the behavior of Kim Jung Hyun back in 2018. The forthcoming drama 'Island' is not in the process of casting the new female lead.
The production also discusses a few actresses, but the production team is planning to stop the casting process this month or June.
