K-Pop Groups BTS, BLACKPINK, NCT 127 Nominated For '2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards'
The forthcoming awarding ceremony of the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards houses nominations for three of K-pop's most prominent K-pop groups-BTS, BLACKPINK, and NCT 127.
The nominees were all announced on April 7 (Wednesday) via a special announcement on social media channels by the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Here are what BTS, BLACKPINK, and NCT 127 got!
BTS begets multiple nominations
Not just one, two, or three, but, the world's most phenomenal K-pop group BTS snatches four nominations for the said awarding event.
To name, BTS is nominated for the following categories: Best Group/Duo, Best Fan Army, Best Music Video for Dynamite, and Best Music Video Choreography with Choreographer Son Sung Deuk craft.
After the announcement, the official Twitter account of iHeartRadio Music Awards posted a short video of the K-pop septet reading a letter from them, informing all lads about their nominations.
Wearing black debonair suits, RM, Suga, J-hope, V, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook were all delighted to hear they are nominated for the upcoming 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, as RM read the letter aloud.
After the bandleader read the said letter, all lads clapped their hands due to excitement, with smiles on their faces.
BLACKPINK made its way for the upcoming '2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards'
The South Korean femme fatale also scored nominations for the forthcoming 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, carrying two categories on its banner. Together with BTS, the female quartet is nominated for Best Fan Army and Best Music Video for How You Like That.
With the hashtag #BLINK, the worldwide fans of Rose, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo, are confident that their idols will take home a trophy, considering their massive influence on the music industry as a whole.
NCT 127 scores a nomination
The ever-supportive fans of the K-pop all-boy group NCT 127 were overjoyed that their idols landed a nomination for the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
That said, NCT 127 is nominated for Best Fan Army, knowing NCTzens have always been on their full support no matter what.
Meanwhile, the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards will showcase the winners next month, May 27.
