Goo Hye Sun Says She Doesn't Have Celebrity Friends, But Fans Say Otherwise
Goo Hye Sun recently appeared on KBS2's Soomi's Mountain Cabin as a special guest and raised some questions as she stated she doesn't have friends who are celebrities.
Recently, Goo Hye Sun shocked fans as she said, "I don't think I have celebrity friends." However, as detailed by Allkpop, three actresses were known to be good friends with Goo Hye Sun, at least in the past.
Lee Yeon Hee
Actress Lee Yeon Hee has been known as a long-time friend of Goo Hye Sun. Since elementary school, the two were known to be friends, and a photo of the two gained attention when they were younger, as it was revealed to the public.
Seo Hyun Jin
An episode of KBS2's Star Life Theater covering the story of Goo Hye Sun revealed the appearance of actress Seo Hyun Jin. Seo Hyun Jin said that she had been friends with Goo Hye Sun for six years during that time.
During that time, Seo Hyun Jin said that you don't need other friends when you have one friend that you can share your inner thoughts with. "If it weren't for Hye Sun, I probably wouldn't have gotten out of a dire, life-threatening situation. I often tell Hye Sun things I can't even tell my mom," she once said.
Then by praising and thanking her, Goo Hye Sun responded, saying that she raised Seo Hyun Jin well. "I receive Hyun Jin's bright energy."
Nam Sang Mi
Appearing previously in the movie Peach Tree, which Goo Hye Sun directed, actress Nam Sang Mi has also been known as one of Goo Hye Sun's close friends.
In the 2021 interview with Goo Hye Sun, she said she wanted to make a movie for Sang Mi. "Nam Sang Mi is an old friend of mine. She's like an angel," she added.
Moreover, during the Peach Tree press conference, Nam Sang Mi also expressed her affection for Goo Hye Sun, saying that she's her friend.
