BTS And BLACKPINK Maintain Royal Status In February Brand Rankings For Idol Groups
BTS and BLACKPINK remain the top notchers for February in the idol groups' brand ranking as revealed by the Korean Business Research Institute!
The rankings were determined using the data collected from January 20 to February 20. It was through analyzing consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups.
BTS Sticks To No. 1 Spot
Garnering a brand reputation index of 12,665,136, BTS held onto its spot at the top of the list for February. The group's high-ranking phrases included fandom, DNA, and ARMY. Simultaneously, surpass, release, and donate are their highest-ranking related terms included. The group's positive reactions achieved a percentage of 84.77 in the BTS's positivity-negativity analysis.
The septet got a slight decrease from their previous month's brand reputation index of 15,664,084 for January. Golden Disc, Billboard, and TikTok were among the group's high-ranking phrases in the group's keyword analysis, while their highest-ranking related terms included surpass, award, and dominate. BTS's positivity-negativity analysis of the Bangtan Boys for January revealed a score of 85.02 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK Defends Long-Time Post
The four queens of BLACKPINK maintained their position at second place for the month. Lisa, Rose, Jennie, and, Jisoo achieved a brand reputation index of 9,603,520, slightly lower than their previous month's score, 11,865,603.
Moreover, NCT replaced TWICE in third place in the rankings from January. The boy group made a remarkable jump from number 6 last month with a total index of 5,878,851 for February.
Among top achievers for the month include SEVENTEEN, IZ*ONE, GFRIEND, (G)I-DLE, TWICE, MAMAMOO, and EXO.
