Minzy Shares Possible 2NE1 Reunion, Talks About BLACKPINK's Music As Their Demo Track
The former member of the popular group 2NE1, Minzy, guested on KBS Cool FM's Park Myung Soo's Radio Show on February 1. Besides talking about her agency, the singer shared her thoughts on various topics, including 2NE1, difficulties being an idol, and which idol hoobae (junior) caught her eye.

During the guesting, Minzy talked about her fellow 2NE1 members. She revealed that Park Bom is focusing on her diet since she's very interested in her health. Sandara Park is busy doing variety shows while CL is recording music.
The singer also mentioned the possibility of a 2NE1 reunion and commented that they meet each other often. "Our leader CL says 'let's try it' and 'what do you think?' a lot. Sandara Park and Park Bom also want to reunite," she added. At the moment, the group did is not proceeding in detail just yet. However, they are already at the stage of talking about doing something.
Furthermore, Minzy divulged that the most challenging thing while being part of 2NE1 was not eating properly. She explained that Sandara Park is very skinny, and if she takes a picture with her, she looks really big. Minzy went on that she had to lose weight in order to appear similar in size to her. "It was very hard."
The singer also shared a pre-debut story of 2NE1. She said that initially, the four of them were preparing for their solo debuts. However, Teddy played Pretty Boy for them, recorded the song, and came out great. Then he said we were going to debut as a group.

Moreover, Minzy revealed she was once casted into SM Entertainment. Stohey told her to hurry up and join them. If she has been fully part of SM, the 2NE1 member could have debuted as an f(x) member.
Along with the interview, Minzy shared that BLACKPINK's track As If It's Your Last was 2NE1's demo track. She explained that they had prepared the recording. However, they included other songs in the album, and that album was the one with Come Back Home in it.
Finally, to the topic on which Junior colleagues Minzy has her eyes, she picked BTS's Jimin and Chungha and praised how cool they were. Minzy ended the interview, saying that she's preparing a new song and recently signed a contract with an overseas record label in the Philippines. "Sandara Park has a lot of friends there, so she supports me a lot," she expressed.
