JTBC's Forthcoming Drama '18 Again' Casts Kim Ha Neul
Get ready to travel down memory lane with Kim Ha Neul.
My Girlfriend Is An Agent star, Kim Ha Neul, 42, is confirmed by the JTBC network to portray an aspiring news anchor in the upcoming drama series entitled '18 Again.'
According to Hellokpop, referencing to the published photos from the shooting scene, Kim Ha Neul can be seen auditioning for an announcer position at the series running news channel -- wearing a grey-slimed tuxedo type of dress.
Her character is also set to be a mother of 18-year-old twins, having endeavored to achieve through compassionately helping other women who are struggling in their respective marriage and pregnancy.
In a statement from the series' production, Kim Ha Neul has shown the different yet versatile side of her acting skills since the first shooting day. The producers of the show then invited the K-drama fans to watch out the upcoming drama series.
As per Koalas Playground, the much-awaited drama series is an adaptation of the Hollywood produced movie '17 Again.'
'18 Again' tells the story of Hong Dae Young, who was magically thrown back to his younger years, amid struggling in his marriage. The lead character, Hong Dae Young, will be played by singer-actor Yoon Sang-Hyun, a regular middle-aged man who was a basketball genius on his youth. The story goes on with Hong Dae Hyung losing his job and awaiting a divorce trial for his regretful marriage.
The young Hong Dae Young, who takes a new identity in the name of Go Woo Young, will be portrayed by rising actor Lee Do-Hyun.
The much-awaited 18 Again drama series will be directed by Go Back Couple director Ha Byung Hoon.
'18 Again' will premier on the JTBC network in September this year, taking the time slot of The Good Detective. The episode line up is yet to be released.
