Lee Jung Shin, Mina, And More To Appear In Upcoming Youth Drama Series
CNBLUE's Lee Jung Shin, Mina, Lim Nayoung, Kwon Hyun Bin, and more are confirmed to be working together in an upcoming drama series!
On January 29, Friday, main casts Lee Jung Shin, Mina, Lim Nayoung, Kwon Hyun Bin, and Lee Jung Shik, with the special participation of Kim Dong Hun, Lee Hyun Joo, Shin Bora, and Bobby Kim are confirmed to be working together in the upcoming series, 'Summer Guys.'
'Summer Guys' is compared to the Korean version series of 'Coyote Ugly,' and 'Cocktail.' The actors will appear in youth, dancing and musical themed drama series, which tells the tale of five people reuniting and working together to revive an old cocktail bar by the beach.
'Summer Guys' will officially premiere its pilot episode on March 30 in KT Seezn and will broadcast 30 minutes episode every Tuesday and Wednesday. The drama will also air in Japan through ABEMa, while it will start global streaming through OTT (over the top) platform.
Meanwhile, the casts were confirmed to be appearing in the drama in August 2020 with director Heo Chan working on the drama project, who previously worked with Netflix hit, 'My Runway,' and 'Snowpiercer.'
The series is confirmed to have a Chinese remake, as confirmed by the production company's statement, despite the original series not yet being finished.
Moreover, the viewers can expect multiple seasons and spin-offs for them to enjoy 'Summer Guys' fully. The production company further noted that they would work hard to meet the fans' and public's high expectations in this upcoming drama series with an exceptional line up of main casts.
