YG Entertainment's rookie boy group of a dozen, TREASURE, mesmerizes the global music scene with the release of THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT. The album is the band's first full album entry, receiving tons of appreciation and love from fans worldwide.

Soompi delightedly reported that shortly after the release of the group's first full album entitled THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT, it made its way on iTunes Top Album charts in more than 18 countries.
It includes Hong Kong, Brazil, Singapore, Thailand, India, and Spain. That said, TREASURE's album shows massive existence in South Korea and different parts of the world.
THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT was launched on January 11 at precisely 6 PM, following South Korea's time zone. Since then, the album tracks became famous at a light speed, capturing the band's fans' attention and hearts.

The same day the album was released, Allkpop reported that THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT already hit more than 250,000 pre-order copies, leading the group to more likely set a personal record in first-week sales with the said comeback album.
In Japan, the album's title track called MY TREASURE skyrocketed to the top of AWA's rising songs chart following its release on Monday.
The B-side track Going Crazy dominated the top ranking spots on Rakuten's Music's real-time total listing. The said track is the signal song for TREASURE's survival show YG Treasure Box.
On Youtube, the music video of MY TREASURE earned massive views in just a short period. After 24 hours of release on the platform, it bagged more than 5 million views, which is an impressive finish for a rookie boy group.
