LOONA And THE BOYZ Bag The Next Generation Awards During The ‘2021 Golden Disk Awards’
Orbits and The Bs jump for joy as their idols LOONA and THE BOYZ won the Next Generation Awards in The Golden Disc Awards!
On January 9, The 35th Golden Disc Awards with CURAPROX was held. The digital music category was hosted by Lee Seung Gi and actress Park So Dam.
With the appearance of Lee Seung Gi, ITZY, Noeul, MAMAMOO, MONSTA X, IU, NU'EST, THE BOYZ, OH MY GIRL, LOONA, and Changmo, The 35th Golden Disc Awards with CURAPROX has been made vibrant.
One of the show's highly-anticipated appearance is the actor superstar Lee Min Ho who has been selected to present the honorable grand prize.
THE BOYZ's Acceptance Speech
The 35th year of GDA marks the first appearance of THE BOYZ at the event. The 11 members expressed their gratitude for choosing them for the award.
They thanked their agency and staff who made it possible for them to shine on stage. They went on to say that THE BOYZ will always work hard. "We appreciate our fans who love us, and are the reason for THE BOYZ's existence," they added.
LOONA's Heartfelt Message
LOONA also made their acceptance speech as they were also awarded the Next Generation Award. They shared that it is their first time to be on stage at the GDA since their debut. They expressed their thanks to the staff and their company for giving them such an opportunity.
They continued to say their thanks to everyone for helping them improve with each of their activities. "LOONA will be a group that constantly improves, even in this year. This is an honor, and we will repay our fans with better performances and results this year," the group added.
Moreover, the members also mentioned Haseul, saying that they miss her so much and will keep on waiting for her. LOONA ended their speech by saying, "We love our members and fans very much."
