Rain and Park Jin Young wowed with their standing in the weekly list of the most buzzworthy non-drama television appearances from December 28 to January 3 released by Good Data Corporation. The two also charted twice on the ranking!

One hundred seventy-four non-drama shows currently on air or set to air soon were analyzed through news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts to come up with the list.

The Duo Topping The List

On the most buzzworthy non-drama TV appearances list, Rain grabs No. 1 for their episode of Ask Us Anything. His pair during the appearance, Park Jin Young, also took the No. 2 spot.

Recently, Rain and Park Jin Young collaborated on the single duet Switch to me, which came out on December 31. The pair has made guest appearances on shows such as JTBC's Ask Us Anything on January 2 and KBS1's AM Plaza on January 1 as part of their promotions. 

Furthermore, the pair's episode of Ask Us Anything included a dance battle. Park Jin Young also shared why he quit smoking for Rain, and the duo talked about their daughters on the show.

Moreover, for Rain's appearance on AM Plaza, he took the No. 4 spot and Park Jin Young at No. 9.

After the January 2 episode of SBS's Unanswered Questions on the death of 16-month-old Jungin following suspected child abuse, the show rises 17 ranks to No. 2.

Simultaneously, with "How Do You Play?" being a hot topic after grabbing several trophies at the 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards, it ranked third.
