Soompi delightedly shared that on January 5, around 2:25 AM, following South Korea's time zone, BTS achieved another feat, care off Dynamite. The news site further shared that the song's funky music video surpassed 750 million views on Youtube.
The numbers reflected on the video streaming platform show the news is a fact, hailing BTS, another Youtube gem for its possession.
The video was uploaded on Big Hit Labels' official Youtube channel back in August. The song is a pre-release track for the band's upcoming album at that time, which only took four months and 14 days to earn the said viewing figures.
The Grammy-nominated band's remarkable Youtube feat is its fifth music video to have achieved the same milestone. Such music videos are Boy With Luv with Halsey, DNA, IDOL, Fake Love, and MIC Drop.
BTS breaks BLACKPINK's record
According to Granthsala, BLACKPINK previously owns the fastest Korean group music video record to achieve 750 million views on the streaming platform.
The femme fatale hails its music video for DDU-DU DDU-DU for the record, achieving the milestone in nine months and 27 days. That said, BTS dethroned BLACKPINK on its reign, falling short by five months in the time table.
For the time being, BTS's Dynamite now holds the record for the fastest Korean group music video to collect 750 million views on Youtube!
The notable feat of BTS on Youtube comes less than a month after the music video reached 700 million views. The music video was directed by the band's recurrent collaborators, LUMPENS, which happens to be the most-viewed video on the platform in just 24 hours of release.
