Kim Sejeong's Heartbreaking Instagram Message Turned Gugudan's Fans Emotional
Kim Sejeong poured her heart out in a letter she posted on her Instagram account following the group's disbandment.
The Members' Thoughts Regarding Their Disbandment
Moreover, earlier this week, gugudan made headlines online as Jellyfish Entertainment announced that the girl group would be officially disbanding on December 31, 2020. The group's leader Hana then took to the group's official fan café to share a letter about the heartbreaking news.
Sally also shared on her Weibo account, saying that she's grateful to herself for working hard and endured for several years. She also divulged her gratefulness to the friends who were with her during that time.
In Nayoung's Instagram account, she shared a photo of the members' hands.
Kim Sejeong Sharing The Members' Time Spent Together
Moreover, Kim Sejeong revealed her lengthy message on her Instagram and said that she thought about writing a handwritten letter, but since she knew she would erase and rewrite a lot, she just upload it as text.
The gugudan member kicked off her message as she recalls the group's practice in 2014, where she exchanged awkward greetings with the other members.
She heartily shared, "I remember how we practiced the first time together and all the moments that joined us into one team. It's been about six years all in all since we first began practicing together as a team."
The member said that she was just an ordinary student preparing to major in experimental music when she first became part of the debut lineup at the agency.
"Of course, I was also a girl going through puberty and being extremely stubborn. But because of the members of the group, I learned how to relax, understand other people, and take care of the small things that are necessary when starting out in a job for the first time."
She also expressed that she felt with her whole heart that it would be fun she could be in a team with these people because of her co-members.
Kim Sejeong said that gugudan is very precious to her, and she will never forget the group. She then revealed that she is both happy and sorry about the past four years and six months that they dreamed together of the same goal.
The member ended her message by saying that she will swallow words like 'I'm sorry,' which will just cause pain to the other members and instead tell them that she has always been grateful to them and made her truly happy.
