BLACKPINK's 'Playing With Fire' track and MV is officially their 6th YouTube MV to obtain 600 million views in four years since their debut!

On December 28, Monday, Soompi reported that BLACKPINK's 'Playing With Fire' track had become the girl band's official 6th YouTube MB to reach 600 million views in four years following their debut. Launched on YouTube in November 2016, the achievement has been obtained with the help of BLINKs (Group fandom) in just four years and two months.

BLACKPINK is ending the year with a successful comeback and recent nominations from various awarding shows. 'Playing With Fire' reached this incredible milestone along with their other tracks including, 'DDU-DU-DDU-DU-,' ' BOOMBAYAH,' 'As If It's Your Last,' 'Kill This Love,' and 'How You Like That.'

Fans express their congratulatory messages for BLACKPINK on social media sites in commemoration of their newly achieved MV track milestone. BLINKs are expecting more to come for the upcoming year for BLACKPINK.

'Playing With Fire' Achievements

During the year it was officially released by YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's 'Playing With Fire' was able to debut on Billboard's no. 1 spot and Gaon Digital Chart at no. 3 spot. The track also stayed consistently on the Monthly Gaon Chart, peaking on the third spot, respectively.

Due to BLACKPINK's prominence, 'Playing WIth Fire' also reached countries such as Canda, and Japan, debuting on their 2016 Canadian Hot 100 and Japan Hot 100 charts. The 600 million viewed MV track also had won the 2017 Gaon Chart Music Award's 'Song of the Month' (November) title.

Making it to the Western Music Chart of Canada has made BLACKPINK the only South Korean girl group and the fifth Korean artists other than Psy, EXO, CL, and BTS to get their music included in the chart.
