The 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards names the awardees for the most coveted trophies in the South Korean entertainment industry in heels time for the Christmas cheer, according to Pinkvilla.

The 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards took place on Christmas Eve, December 24 (Thursday), awarding trophies to the deserving personalities. The ceremony facilitated by KBS honors variety stars and programs that made 2020 more extra with their content and talent.

As per Soompi, this year's Daesang (Grand Prize) was coveted by comedienne Kim Sook. That said, the comedienne is the network's choice of being the most outstanding achiever in variety programming and entertainment for Boss in the Mirror and Problem Child in House.

Kim Sook is the second woman in the history of the network to grab a Daesang (Grand Prize), following Kim Young Ja's win in 2018.

She went up to the stage with tears of joy, saying, "Thank you so, so much to KBS for giving me such a huge award." Kim Sook added that she shares her award with all health care workers, small business owners, and the people who are currently struggling because of the pandemic.
