BTS Jimin Is Choeaedol’s Charity Fairy: Donates 500,000 KRW To Physically Mentally-Challenged Children
It was reported earlier that Jimin would be supporting outstanding students of arts through the "BTS Jimin Scholarship."
This project is from the donation earlier made by the King of Pop to the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation, and it will be distributed in 2021. Now the town hero has once again shared his fortune with those in need. This is in part of the fans' celebration for his 9200th day of existence.
Fans celebrated the 9200th day of Jimin from his birthday on December 19. The fans posted their messages of love and support via SNS.
Through Jimin's fans' unmatched unity, they made Jimin a "Charity Fairy" once again. They teamed up to vote for Jimin on the idol ranking app "Choeaedol."
The Charity Fairy Jimin
Jimin was hailed as the 99th Charity Fairy as he earned more than the required votes. He received 55,555,555 votes on his 9200th day.
In Choeaedol, Jimin ranked 14th in the highest votes as he received a total of 62,335,574. According to the app, the idol who received those mentioned above required daily votes in Choeaedol will be worthy of being called Charity Fairy. The title is given to the idols in the anniversaries of their birthday or debut.
Choeaedol donates 500,000 Korean Won or US$453 in the name of the Charity Fairies to give honor to them.
The Children With Disabilities Will Be Receiving The Prize
The Miral Welfare Foundation will be receiving 500,000 KRW from Jimin. This is from the prize he garnered from the voting Charity Fairy contest. The said foundation is known for its commitment to support persons with disabilities, especially children.
Moreover, it can be recorded that this is the 5th time Jimin to become a Charity Fairy. Previously, he also had been named "Charity Angel" 3 times.
Jimin also ranked 8th among individual idols with the most number of donations in the history of the Choeaedol app and so far the highest among the BTS members.
