WATCH: NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' Hilariously Mentioned BTS On Their Latest Episode
NBC's Saturday Night Live show hilariously featured BTS through a sketch comedy show played by Maya Rudolph and Beck Bennett.
On December 21, Monday, NBC's late-night comedy show, 'Saturday Night Live,' has played a sketch comedy skit referencing South Korean boy band BTS in the most hilarious yet good way of showing their admiration their music and talent. Fans shared the clip on Twitter because of an unexpected remark from the late-night comedy show.
In the sketch, which is now circulating on social media, Maya Rudolph, who plays the role of the newly elected United States Vice President Kamala Harris, informs the current U.S Vice President that she has some good news to share.
Beck Bennett, who portrays the role of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, responded hilariously by saying, "Oh my God, BTS is touring again?" which made fans and viewers go crazy, as they spot another fanboy on live television.
This is not the first time that BTS has been featured by NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' as they had been invited to perform their successful hit 'Boy With Luv' and 'Mic Drop,' in 2019, making them the first Korean artists to appear and be invited on the show.
This proves that the septet has molded and polished their talents through the years, bearing good outcomes in the K-pop scene.
Moreover, due to their immense popularity locally and abroad, BTS's music is often referred to as modern pop culture. Their public message of hope across the world and their music, which brings inspiration, hope, and overcoming of obstacles in life, has gained praise and respect from other well-known music critics in the industry.
Following the large number of people getting infected with the COVID-19, this just made the year even harder for BTS to make their world tour happen as the government restricts any form of crowd gatherings to avoid further virus transmission.
